would you consider it unsafe to drive a forklift wearing cowboy boots?

I do factory type work and drive a forklift (the sit down kind), I always wear cowboy boots to work.Most of my co-workers who wear sneakers always ask me how I can handle the lift and drive wearing cowboy boots. I’ve never thought about it and never had any problems with it and I’ve worked there since I was 26( 30 now). My Managers never said anything about my boots.

So is it really that unsafe to drive a forklift in cowboy boots?

How to wear my cowboy boots?

I just got a pair of cowboy boots and I’m not sure on how to wear them. Some people are saying to not tuck them in my jeans because I’ll look like an idiot. Is this true? Because all I have are skinny jeans and it’s impossible to cover up the boots. I realize I shouldn’t care what people think, but I was just wondering.
