What’s the difference between Women’s Western boots and Men’s Cowboy boots?

Because I’m trying to buy cowboy boots but the problem is my foot is size 6 (U.S.) and everyone keeps saying to just get the women’s boots but there seems to be a difference in the heels, toes, and stitching. Can someone please clarify this for me? Is there a difference?
